Anchors Away and a Birthday!!

I am loving nautical prints for the Spring and Summer. Navy blue, white, red, and browns. Today was warm and sunny throughout most of the day, with a sudden thunderstorm in the late afternoon. It was my good friend Gina's sons birthday party.  Angel turned 6! We had a really fun day and I was able to snap some pictures of my outfit before I left.  I included some pictures at his birthday party as well.  Hope you enjoy!

It's been raining for like three days straight and I'm just sick of it.  I can't wait for the sun to finally shine through.  While I was home I decided to make a LITTLE WISHLIST of the things I'm drooling over at this moment.  Some are practical and I might buy them soon..while others might be a little out of my reach for the time being. May I start off by saying that I am in love with the Sachin Babi sequin dress!!! ::drools::  I am going to my cousin's wedding in June and boy would I feel like one hot mamacita in that dress!!!! Okay..let's be real I'm not going to pay that much for a dress but I think it's gorgeous.  Looks like it would hug the body in all the right places.
Next, I think I am def going to buy these crisp white jeans.  I need a new pair and the skinny jean cut of these bad boys is just amazing.  In the summer, when you have a nice tan, a pair of white skinny jeans will look awesome.
This next item on my wishlist, is just so RUNWAY! I'm in love with this TOPSHOP body con skirt.  I love black and white and stripes are so in trend right now.  I can picture me wearing it with a really bright shirt, and just throwing in that POP of color.  I LOVE IT!
The Louboutin pumps are just outrageous!  I'm in love with the color and can wear them with so many different outfits.  I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them.
These Tory Burch thong sandals I might get because I just love Tory Burch.  I love collecting her bags and her clothes and accessories are just so classy.  I would rock these all summer.
The ASOS  purse is so structured and I am loving its shape.  Plus, I go nuts for anything animal print.  It almost reminds me of a "grandma bag" but I don't care. I love it!!!
The La Mer collections wrap watches are so casual and go with anything.  They come off looking like you are wearing bracelets which is why I love them.  I love the tan color with the gold studs.  It just looks so relaxed yet put together.
I am a big fan of huge cocktail rings, so when YSL came out with this line of arty rings I went nuts.  This ring is so odd and looks like it belongs in a museum! I want one!!
The next item on my wishlist is this feather ring by House of Harlow.  I love this line by Nicole Richie.  The jewelry is just very old/Native American looking but I love it! 
And last but not least, this cute straw hat from topman.com.  I love hats of all kinds. There are days that I don't feel like doing my hair, I just slap a hat on.

My Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes For Spring

Hello everyone!!  Lately, I have been gravitating towards the same eyeshadow colors. I have a ridiculous collection of makeup but  I have been using the same five palettes almost everyday.  They are mainly neutrals because it's work appropriate.  I hope you like...

 The first one below is the "Kat Von D" True Romance Eyeshadow Palette. This palette in only sold at Sephora.  Kat Von D palettes are really smooth and pigmented.

 This next palette is the "Too Faced" Naked Eye Palette.  I love this palette because it comes with cute cards that explain how to apply eyeshadow looks.  The eye shadows are really wearable for everyday and look amazing on every skin tone. 

 The palette below is the "Tempting" quad by MAC cosmetics. This quad was from the Cult of Cherry collection.(I mentioned this in my last post.  This is the eye makeup I was using.)  It's kind of pointless to show this one, because I don't think they sell it anymore, but you can probably find some close enough dupes.  I am obsessed with the colors in this quad. 

The following palette below is awesome! It's the "Urban Decay" Naked palette.  You do not know how hard it was for me to get my hands on this palette.  It is always sold out and always high in demand.  You can do so many eye shadow looks with this one palette.  Smokey eyes, neutral eyes, sunkissed glowing eyes, EVERYTHING and ANYTHING can be created with this one palette. 

If you had to only buy one palette, I'd say def buy this one!!!

And lastly, but certainly not the least, my new obsession, INGLOT cosmetics. I never in a million years thought I would like a makeup line more then MAC but I think I have found one.   Inglot is a company from Poland and the way their products just go on the skin is amazing.  There are about 5 locations right now throughout the US and lucky for me there is one right in my area!!! I think there are lots of locations in Europe.  I am in love with the pigmentation and overall color payoff of these eye shadows.  The only thing about this line that is a little blah is that they don't name their products with catchy names.  They name them with numbers. So it's a little harder to remember what colors are your favorite. 

Overall, these five palettes are my favorite right now for Spring.  With my growing collection, I might change my mind in a few months. LOL

Tribal & Leather

Today was a cloudy and chilly Saturday.  I am loving the tribal print clothing trend. I wore this tribal shirt with a pair of black skinny jeans and paired it with my leather jacket. Once in a while, I wear black from head to toe.  Today was one of those days.  This allows me to throw in a pop of color with jewelry or eye makeup.  The fact that you are in all black gives you some slack into wearing a few risky colors in other ways.

I experimented with my "Tempting Quad" from MAC, on my eyes.  This is an old quad from the "Cult of Cherry" collection, but it's one of my favorites. I am indeed obsessed with makeup.  Maybe one day I will gather some courage within me and make some makeup tutorials on YOUTUBE.  We'll see...LOL

Messy Hair & Some Boyfriend Pants

Hi All...
This is a simple outfit for a Friday afternoon in the Spring.  I was so tired and didn't feel like doing my hair today.  That explains my messy bun.  I am loving boyfriend pants and/or jeans.  It's such a cute trend when your not in the mood for skin tight pants.  I like wearing boyfriend pants to work because they're loose and make me feel comfortable.
